Today is voting day. I voted. I participated in my civic duty as a proud American. I have very important friends who serve in the military and I love my country, but I do not love politicians and our choices are often amongst one dead beat scoundrel to the next. I know my friends are courageous so I still know there are good people in the trenches working on behalf of our ideals.
The world is a beautiful place with kind people everywhere. I have been blessed to meet many different people from this awesome planet earth. I want to meet some more. Therefore, I enjoy travel. I don’t have to go far to see the best nature, but different cultures and historic architecture is also awesome to see. So, when I was threatened to have my “trek” cancelled, I persisted with many phone calls and got discouraging words; but after a week in limbo, things seem to be rolling forward once again. Energy and persistence conquer all things. Benjamin Franklin One thing I am pretty good at is being persistent. I can always call customer service agents again and again until I get my desired outcome, but I believe in always treating them very kindly because not only is it the right thing to do, but you get treated better and your karma is better.
