Music

Today I was a chaperone for my daughter’s middle school band field trip. We went to hear the Portland Youth Philharmonic at the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall. I was primarily to be a bouncer. Luckily, I didn’t have any real offenders to take down. 🙂 The pieces were nicely chosen to the young audience. It brought lot of memories back of my string playing days. I still prefer a concert experience from the stage but they were enjoyable to hear. Next week, I’ll be back on stage again as crowd control to make sure the band is on task so I can fulfill my new calling. It is fun too in its’ own way.
